A Road Trip but Us Dogs Stay Home

July 18, 2015

Robin and Dan were gone for a long time–I think it was about a year. That’s a long time in human times, right? Robin has been writing blog posts and is up to the seventh day of this really long trip. Some of Robin’s Very Nice Friends came to hang out with us dogs some of the time and we stayed Next Door at night, but still, it was very long time for them to abandon us. Robin and Dan got back two nights ago and yesterday we finally went Across the Road.

All of these pictures were taken at the place where Ginny can take The Toy into the water without it floating away. Here she is looking ditzy waiting for it to be thrown again.IMG_5431

Here I am waiting for Robin to throw The Toy so that I can chase Ginny when she chases The Toy (except I don’t follow her into the water).

This time in the dirt while we walk to the second place where Robin throws The Toy into the water..IMG_5453 IMG_5455

All done and time to go home.

    Humans, can’t live with them, can’t …

By the way I’d have that rope off that ball in 15 seconds… just saying…

People can be very inconsiderate at times – leaving dogs behind. Well Rusty, you aren’t the only one with a friend that is a toy nut. Stella has a stupid kong bone (yellow even) that she takes everywhere, even to bed. What a goof ball. We’ve been having a lot of thunder this summer & it scares me. So, Jean bought me a “thunder vest.” I guess it works, we haven’t had thunder since she got it.
